Prescott? Eww AZ, I was down there for a couple years. Hated that heat. To elaborate more, I will be taking down a small boat trailer that is 16' long, a fairly decent size air compressor to put on it, then coming back, i'll have that, plus a baja bug. Bumper to bumper is 13'. I'm sure I can get a fair amount of the boat tongue under the bug, not sure exactly how much though, since neither are here. If creeper doesn't see this before i head off, i have a tentative plan devised. I could head out of here sunday with the boat trailer, get to bend, load it on your trailer, get to klamath falls, get my stuff done. Go from there back up here to Clackamas, and then the next day bring the trailer back down to Bend. That sound ok? I would pick up sunday, and drop back off saturday. I'll send a pm with my phone number. Also, what size of ball does the 20' take? I'm guessing 2 5/16? Thanks for working with me on this. It's really appreciated.

Its a 2-5/16"...

Guess I am a little lost as to why you are bringing an empty boat trailer with you all the way round trip... LOL

It's alright, no big deal, I'll just make my own hot shot trip later on to get the bug back up north. I'm down here now, got the compressor put together, tweaking the boat trailer a bit, should be done in the next day or two. I do appreciate the offer of use of your trailer though. If i'm ever in bend i'll give you a shout. Probably won't be anytime soon, i've only been through 2 or 3 times.

Zombie, I am so sorry! I just now saw that you updated this thread. Last week was really hectic and I ended up hauling the Cruiser up in the woods to get away from it.

Haha, well ya see csi, I'm buried deep into my own project right now . Compressor is together and on, tool box is on, tongue is shortened, rear deck is framed. One day left to wrap it all up and i'll have my mobile setup done. Hopefully I don't have any issues dragging it back up north, haven't come across a cheap spare yet .

It's alright creeper, like I said, i can just make another trip. This one actually wasn't too bad of a drive. Had the girlfriend with me so it went by pretty quick. We'll see how it goes headed up, hopefully this trailer won't dance on me. I did find a pretty sweet gooseneck for sale while I've been here. Looks like a 25' deck plus a 6 or 8 foot deck above the hitch. Tandem duals, guessing 20k. Guy wants 4500 for it. No idea what I would do with it after the trip, or where I would put it at the apartment .
