Default My car hauler is finished!

I bought a 10k GVW car hauler from a buddy of mine a few months ago... I am happy to say that it is done (for now)! Next year I'm planning on making both axles braking axles and converting all the lighting to LED. I will also be adding a winch and possibly a toolbox and aluminum/chrome wheels. For now it is usable and I am stoked!

This is what it looked like before I started on it:

Now it has a new deck, fresh paint, drive over fenders, repacked bearings, adjusted brakes and some minor repair work done to it:

It does have safety chains... You can see the mount for them on there.

looks good now you just need to practice telling all your friends that were MIA during the refurbish job "hell no" when they ask to borrow it

LOL! That is one of the reason I didn't replace the pintle set-up:

"Hey dude, can I borrow your trailer?" - Friend
"It's set up for a pintle hitch..." - Me
"Oh... Nevermind." - Friend

I built the fender. I used scrap steel that my Grandpa had lying around and welded them up.

It will have one eventually but it's not high on my priority list. It will be difficult to have a breakaway issue with a pintle!

You can only borrow the PS fender.
