Trailer axles
Since mine are junk..
what would you all recommend? these are to go under a gooseneck thats 25'+4'dove +6' top deck. it has 3 axles under it but 2 are falling apart literally. considering making it 2 axles?
brand, weight rating, tire size? where to get them?

it needs work obviously..
my best guess is it had 2 7k axles and the guy who owned it before stuck 3 mobile home axles on it for a little better weight hauling.. blew the center axle hub off.. then I took out the front of a car in a parking lot with that same side(yet I never once touched a curb), then the rear hub broke off... its had a rough life! so now on the hunt for real axles and some steel for the deck to replace the rough spots. just don't know what I should use. was thinking 2 10k's but I actually liked pulling 3 so i'm not sure.
edit: most places out by me don't carry anything over 7k that's not already on a trailer.

I know a lot of guys are running mobile home axles under all sorts of stuff, but they are intended to be one-time use parts and your example shows why. The machining work and bearing fit on MH axles is just not up to par for long-term use.
I like the Dexter Torc-Flex as well, but they are pricey.
Dexter has a very involved customer trailer axle query on their site. Plug in your information and it will spit out the best setup.

I would think that a nice set of 5000# or 7500# axles would handle anything that you've mentioned (2 instead of 3). Just realize that your top weight will be restricted to 10K --14K trailer GVW.

For cheaper axles, check out some of the RV salvage yards. There is a huge one in Misourri and they will ship. COLAW RV PARTS & SALVAGE | WE HAVE YOUR PART!

RV salvage i'm pretty sure we don't have.. now semi trailers i can get loads of those but they are of no use to me, that i'm aware of.
the trailer weighs 3,880 in its current form.. i'll haul a truck or a car on it so maybe 10kish for its max load. truck weighs a hair under 6k last I weighed it. so 2 7500's would make me nervous. especially if quads or whatever get loaded up too.
as for the MH axles on it.. I have mixed feeling on them the 3 under it now have been there for about 9-10years and just now having problems, I don't think they were meant to take the bumper off a cavalier either
