Please make sure you use hardened washers that are the exat proper size to take up the slack the pounding is great and constant.Been there.

we run 30k pintle hitches on our work F450s. the pintle hitch rotates and has a zerk for lube. the lunette eye is fixed tight to the trailer. no springs, no sleeves added, it is designed to rotate! the right pintle and lunette will have no slop, not like the combo hitches with a 2" ball mount and a top 'arm' that locks down to make a VERY light duty pintle.
