Can you put a 5th wheel hitch on a flatbed?

I have never seen it before and i want a flatbed and a 5th wheel soo figured i better ask

yes you can. i have saw many welding trucks with 5th wheel hitch stuck way back on the bed.

The B&W Companion Hitch is one of if not the best hitch on the market but it is pricey, up over $500 for just the companion portion alone. The only bad part about it is that it's not a slider, so if your running a shorter bed it's gonna make RV's a little tricky. And ya, B&W makes a hitch specifically for flatbeds.

Yes you can And you can do it your self it is the same as putting it in the back but I mounted mine directly to the frame and I pull a 38 ft 5th wheel. I just take off the part that connects to the king pin and it sits even with my flat bed. I also have put 5 5th wheel hitches in the back of all kinds of trucks while in the camp ground.
