Default 2nd gen cummins tow set up - whatcha got?

just curious what you guys are running for towing your trailers - and what the total combined weight is - and what your milage is on flat ground with your set up?

thanks in advance

don

ps - my current set up is simple: i bought the truck that rammed the lambo in the latest bat man movie. no kiddin, the exact truck that christian bale got rammed with in the movie. took that, fixed the frt end and -

put a #10 plate in it (pretty close to full forward)

set of 5x12 inj

a 3800# double disc clutch

4" ex

and a good air filter

the truck rips

milage is not great 15 mpg best at 22,000# total

whatcha got?

and hows it work?

thanks, don

Well you can pretty much look at my signature and see what I've got done to my truck. I pulled a 35' gooseneck with a 20' Conex/Shipping container, whatever you wanna call it and all my house stuff inside it. I moved from Seattle, WA to Sumter, SC and averaged about 9 MPG. However, flat ground comin across southern Wyoming, then Nebraska and Kansas if I took it I was gettin 10 and close to 11 in some places. With a full tank of fuel on the scales with truck, trailer and load I was right at 24K pounds. Hope this helps you some.

One more note you might need. I THINK, not sure, but THINK I've either got 4.56 or 4.10 gears. I know that at about 75 or 80 mph with the 35" tires I'm cruisin at right at or just over 2100 RPMs.
