Default Disgusted with new trailer

Got a new flatbed 8 1/2X36 with 3 tandem 10K axils with 30K extended Gooseneck(High clearance). On my first load and a light one at that around 15K the hitch is bending. And this is pulling it on snow/Ice. The part that is bending is the tube that you can adjust to match the ride hight of the truck. The part that is welded to the trailer is where it is bending. It is bending foward and back so now when you hit a bump you hear a snap and can feel it on the truck.

This is a brand new 09 trailer that I custom ordered heavy duty everything. I towed the trailer home empty 60 miles and towed with it about 50 miles that is it.

The Main reason I got the trailer is I wanted a higher neck my old flatbed ran so close to the box on my truck I had to be carefull. I could have put a different neck on the trailer but didn't think that was the safest thing to do so I traded. Now it sounds like manufactor would like to cut on my new trailer. This ticks me off big time.

I think I should just get a new trailer from them. I see no reason that they cant give me a new one and then fix the other and sell it at a little discount to someone who can choose if they want it or not. Is that asking to much?

I do have a picture but havent figured out how to post here. Tried a search and didn't find anything. If you have a link that shows how that would be helpfull and I will post a picture.

I don't want to say the brand of trailer and be part of giving them a bad reputation. I am hoping they will do the right thing.

Sorry to hear about the New trailer. That is a bummer that they want to cut and weld on your brand new trailer. I think I would be saying hey wait a minute I want a new one too. But then again it might be better than new if whoever fixes it knows what there doing. Here is a link to help you with adding pics Hope this help

this is bad.............the place you bought this from should be getting you a different one for sure, sounds as if they designed it wrong if it is bending

It also sounds as if the manufactuter has admitted the trailer needs modifications so that is in your favor

Well, when the trailer was built it sounds like someone screwed up,I think you'd be better off to let them fix the trailer, otherwise the new one will probably do the same thing.
(the trailer was welded in the first place,I don't see why welding again would be an issue)

Better yet, tell them to take the thing back, and give you your money back,so you can buy a better trailer.
