If you get a new truck and the engine goes bad do you fix it NO you take it back the same applies here do not touch the trailer than they will say it is you fault. I would take it back and that is it.

I work in a shop that sells trailers similar to this one. I have seen things like this before. There are some sub par materials that go into a lot of trailers. I think that the manufacturer thinks that you are only going to haul light loads and never push it to it true potential. We have had trouble getting paid for warranty like that.That could be why they only want to fix it because it would not cost them very much.But in my opinion there is no question you should be given the choice of a repair or a new trailer what ever you want.
