I prefer the ones w/o the vapor wall so I can get more cargo in. If you know of a deal in the area, lemme know; I'm looking!

I have a 24 ft. Desert Fox. I haul my '99 Honda Valkyrie Interstate or an old Hyundai Golf Cart. Depending on where I'm going and what's going on. The golf cart works great at Bluegrass festivals and the bike works great for Daytona Bike Week. Sleeps eight, but it's just me and the wife so we got plenty of room.

Problem I got is, with the price of fuel, can't afford to go anywhere.

Just the thread i was looking for. My wife and I are looking into getting a toy hauler and to say that we are green is an understatement. We kind of always wanted one but had to build a house first. So anyway, we are just about there and I have a few questions.

1-I was told by a couple people that to pull a 40' i would need a dually. That's a little more than I want to go truck wise. They said a 2500 would do but I would not be happy with it. So what are your opinions.
2-If i would need a DRW, what size camper would be the max with a SRW, 2500. i know weight plays into it and all are different but would be a general rule-of-thumb.
3-What are some descent makes of toy haulers and more importantly ones to avoid. All opinions welcome. We are looking at a keystone Fuzion 393 (39.3') new for $44K(which would weigh in right under the max of the Chevy 2500 HD CC 4X4, i'm looking at) or a slightly smaller used 2007 36' Victory Lane in really good shape for $33K.
Thanks

I got a 30' GearBox, bumper pull. It has no vapor wall, I can fit 8 ATVs in it, piggy backing a couple. Has 3 queen beds and 2 full beds. Sleeps 10 very comfortable. Electric rear bunks, 5500 watt generator, 15 gallon and 30 gallon gas tanks with filling station, ice maker, 120 gallon fresh water tank, air compressor, power washer, exterior shower and more. I love it!!

It came with them - I don't use a lot of the extras all the time but when I need them it is well worth it and nice to have them!

Has 2 queen beds and 2 full beds. Sleeps 6 very comfortable. Electric rear queen, 2 fold downs and master queen. I added an 8000 watt generator, ice maker, air compressor, power washer (all from sources likes Sams Club, Wal-Mart etc, much cheaper than from RV Dealer). Came with the exterior shower and 80 gal Fresh water tank. Here's a copy of the floor plan,
