Default I need to tow a 2005 F-250

I bought a new truck, F-250, and I want to tow my old F-250 back home after this job is over. Problem is, the normal rental places do not have a trailer that will support my truck! How can I tow my F-250??? 156" wheelbase, 4x4, Oklahoma to Louisiana.. by the way...

Shipping it might be cheaper than a rental by the time you do a couple of round trips, but you might check with some of the tractor or heavy equipment places around? Some of them down here do weekly/monthly rentals. Maybe Sunbelt or somebody that rents out little excavators or bobcats can help you out.

What kind of hitch are you planning to use? New truck have a brake controller?
