Default tire help!!

i have a 09 2500 dodge. i am running and would like stay running 35x12.5x17. im getting a little frusterated trying to find a tire that suits me. i currently have toyo mts on but have always hated them and hate them more then ever now that i broke down and put them on 2 weeks ago. the only reson i put them on is for the 10ply load range and good for 3640 a tire as i do tow heavy. *equipment and when im hooked to my toyhauler im around 7500 over the rear axle* anyways i have only been able to find a couple tires with similar weight ratings but then i read they arent great for towing.. if any one has a tire they would reccomend i would appriciate it thanks

I guess my first question is what don't you like about the Toyo MT's? Are they wearing too fast, squirm too much, noisy?

ive always had problems with them wearing out extremely quickly compared to some of the other mts ive ran. also imo i dont think they perform that well off road but i can deal with that but what really makes me mad about them is on dodges they tend to make the truck pull to the right and when i put them on my 09 it now will change lanes immediatly if you let go of the wheel. i know you could probably fix that with an adjustable ball joint but i dont want to do that. i guess it just pisses me off when you spend 1600 bucks on tires that make your pickup pull horribly and drive like crap

I hear you. Some years ago I had a set of 40" Goodyear MTR's on a lifted SuperDuty. They handled well, and wore evenly, but the truck only had a V10. Needless to say the lack of torque compared to a diesel made them last longer, plus I didn't really pull any trailers with it. No wandering or wear issues though.

Good luck on your next set. Let us know if you choose a different brand. I would be curious to know how they compare to what you have now.

I'd look into maybe a bfGoodrich. are you wanting an a/t or m/t? goodyear wranglers are a good line of tires just don't get the silent armor

Cummins dude, Check out the pro comp EXTREME AT's they come in load range E. I ran the 35x12.50-17's with great luck I tow a 40' camper 10x's a year. Mine were load range D's and did well for me. My buddy has the 37x13.50-18's in the E range and loves the way they tow! Plus they look like mudder's.

Depending on where you live most roads are crowned in the center especially rural or county roads therefore most vehicles especially pickups will pull to the right.you might look at kelly tsr
