Default Lifts; Suspension vs. Body

Hi all,
Just looking to gain some knowledge here. What is the difference between suspension and body lifts? What are the benefits and downfalls and what purposes would one or the other be used for?

Body lift essentially lifts the body off of the frame so you can fit bigger tires.. suspension actually lifts the frame up.. for more travel, bigger tires etc etc... Body lifts are cheaper versus most suspension lifts unless you do a leveling kit which just raises the front end up 2 inches and makes the truck sit level.. if your gonna do a lift in my opinion I would suspension.. cause even with a body lift n bigger tires or frame is still gonna be lower to the ground... Suspension lifts in my opinion are worth the money compared to a body lift..

Thats one thing I have learned with Lifting vehicles... Dont buy a cheap lift kit because they do wear out faster!
