Default Another tire question

I was pricing tires today and I looked at the Toyo MT and then at the next shop they had the Nitto Terra Grapller. They said the Nitto is a great tire and wears good. On here a lot of you say the Toyo Mt is a good tire. I'm mostley on the road but I do go in the woods on weekends and up in the mountains in Colorado for elk hunting. I need a tire that will wear good and give me good traction. We chain up for elk so that helps a lot. I just don't want to be buying tires again after 30.000 miles. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

From what we experienced around here you are lucky to get 25k out of nittos because they are such a soft rubber. I would steer towards the toyos or another brand

Thanks guys. Should I go with the MT's or the AT's? I would think the MT's wouldn't last as long.

I run the Toyo AT's and love them. They really do last. The Nittos are just to soft of a compound.
