Question '04.5 3500 needs new front end, is this what I need?

Hello everyone and thank you in advance for the help. I just picked up an 04.5 Dodge 3500 and have it in the shop for its 60k service. The shop told me that I really need to replace my front steering, and I've read this is a known issue with these trucks. So I believe I need the following parts but I'm not 100% sure. I dont do any heavy 4x4in so I just want to make the steering solid, but not crazy.

52122362AE--Steering Kit $222.00
6505623AA--Nuts (3), to attach new linkage $1.25 each
6502835--Nuts (2), to attach steering damper $0.38 each
6502473--Bolt (1), to attach steering damper $2.50
68039930AA-- 08 Pitman Arm $51.52
From: Mopar Parts for Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep: MoparPartsAmerica

Then the PCS : http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...gn=4X4products

Also the Carli High mount :http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...r-p-18830.html

And do I need this as well? I don't have my truck here to look but are there 2 stabilizers? http://www.8lugtruckgear.com/Carli-L...izer-p441.html

Should that just about cover all I need to get the front end up to par?

Thank you for the help!!

PS. this is on an '04.5 3500 5.9 4x4 with 67k miles on it.

I am looking to redo my steering linkage in my 1997, 2500. I found this information on going from the "Y" style linkage to a linkage that directly connects the two front wheels. Hope this information can be commented on, as my research has found very little on the use of this newer linkage for my year truck.

Dt Profab has the following link, read all the info. Cost about $350

DTP02031-1 HD STEERING LINKAGE

I went online to Dodge Auto Parts .com and found a 2011 linkage Assembly for about $280 (List price $350)and it looks very good and similar to the DT product.

On YouTube this video lead me in the direction I wish to go with my truck and it looks like a great option for those with 2003 and up trucks.

I would do this in a heartbeat, but have heard some comments about the joints not having the right taper. I am looking for someone who knows or has found other information about this. I hope these three links help you in your quest for better steering. I have a Ford (2007) and the steering is awesome, and the linkage is this newer type on Dodge 2010-2011. I think this may be the big solution for our a good deal of our problems. Please comment. Thank you.

I got a letter from Dodge soon after purchasing my 2008. The dealer, Puyallup WA, service rep walked out into the parking lot and bent down to look at the front of my truck. From 50 feet away he says, "oh yeah you got the right one on their, good to go". he was referreing to the steering damper, however, the rest of the assembly was the wrong one, which I pointed out, he argued, I left. I replaced the stuff with the bigger kit, took the parts back to the dealer in the town I now live, in Colorado where truck modifications are not thought to be in league with devil worship as they were in Wa. This dealer took one look at the truck and said you have the half ton parts on a one ton truck and paid me for my kit and my time doing the swap. He then said he would contact the other dealer and Dodge on my behalf. Some dealers just get it right I would say.
