Im running 38.50x14.50x17 with 4.5" Back spacing. At full lock it will rub on my lower control arms & some times the bottom of the bumper if there is some articulation going on.

Ya i guess i should have said that. Its an 6" RCD Long arm kit (5" on V10 & diesel) with a 2" spacer. So 7" of total lift.

highest i can go is 6 so thats y im asking. cuz i dnt mind if it rubs but i just dont want crazy rubage haha

With the right back spacing and a little bit of triming you should be ok. Remember most 38's arnt really 38" tall...

ya i kno but im using 37's on a 6 inch lift as a refrence and if you go bigger looks to me that they will rub like crazy. my 35's on 4inch rub a full lock but i dont care about that cuz it can be avoided u kno. i dnt want something at a half turn rub like crazy.

they would with fender cut outs. Ive seen a guy with a 4.5in and 41s.

o my god dude how in the hell can that work! they goda be to tall. already figured that 14.50 will be ok as far as width but 42" tall? u goda pic of this truck?
