Default 99 diesel suburban lift?

i have a 99 2500 6.5 surburban and i cant find a suspension lift or a body lift for the life of me that doesnt say EXCEPT FOR DIESEL in the added notes. is there a reason for that? what is the reason all the lifts i look say except for diesels. ive found leveling kits for my truck but i really just want to do a 3" body lift on it. the only problem ive had with going with the leveling kit is that i dont know what color torsion keys i have, my stock ones are all rusted so i cant read on them what color they are. if someone could help me out or give me some input it would be greatly appreciated. oh and also i dont want to spend alot of money on lifting it and minimum i would like a 3" lift. thanks

the body lift fits except the stock intake won't fit because the wheel well is now 3" higher.

Any "lift" keys should be higher than stockers. they are just clocked differently.

Suspension lifts fit, except your crossover pipe needs to be modified to clear the diff IIRC.

yeah. copy the SS diesel supply intake basically and build an airbox around it if you want to go that far.

I guess i lost the good pics of mine, but here's one during R&D that gives you an idea. I wound up using black PVC and the stock K&N for a late year 6.5. It has a lip with a hose clamp. I also built a heat shield around it.
