I haul a lot of livestock for hire. She was one a those crazy horse people that hired me to pick up a load of horses for her up in Iowa. I went by her house the morning I was headin up there to pick em up cause I needed all the legal paperwork. Next thing I knew she was climbin in the truck and goin with me. This wasn't normal but she was hot and it was an 19 hour round trip so I figured some company would be nice and didn't say anything. We were married 3 months later. OH LORDY WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO.

Well I have decided to stick with the single rear wheel on this idea. Now can anybody tell me the good or bad points to all the sizes available. 19, 19.5, 22, 22.5, 24 and 24.5. I'm sure there is more to this than I am seeing so what's the lowdown on all the differences here. For any of you running these tires and wheels speak up and let me know what you think of em to.

Cant really help ya on the dually conversion - I think Chrome Wheel has conversion kits, as well I think JC Whitney has a kit.

All I want is some basic wheels that I can run the big rig tires on. They're cheaper and longer lasting by far then these LT tires we run on these trucks, not to mention the extra load capacity. On the Rickson site it looks like they are just runnin the normal truck tires on big rig wheels.
I'm so confused here.

OK heres the deal...I have had these Ricksons 19.5 on now for 6 years and 80k miles...they will last another 50k before they need replaced so as far as longivity they are great.
the tire wheel combo weighes in at 172 lbs each so they are heavy duty big time....hell the rims are 3/8" thick
total heigth is 35.2" tall so ya hafta run a leveling kit or 2" lift to get full turning
they are 11ply and rated at 6400 lbs each..........about the same as you get from a duelly
they make a still ride.................an airbag suspension would be most excellent here
6th gear for me is only 1800 rpm at 75mph so this is good MPG
5th gear is 2100 rpm at 65mph.....excellent for towing big loads.
speedo correction device will be needed
safety on large loads is increased dramatically
brake wheel cylender from a chevy 1 ton helped me get some braking power back
I rotate tires every 10k
the core of these tires is 60 bucks trade in
I paid 2300 bucks total for tires and wheels new
overall econimics I think is better than regular tires
