I have had these tires on my last three Dodges all 97 and up and two were 3/4 gas trucks, wore real well, super smooth, surprising traction in a wide array of surfaces and very affordable. I will definitely be putting these tires on my diesel!

Upon doing some looking, I have found that firestone has come out with a 315/70/17 load range E tire... Any thoughts on these? I like the idea of load range E, the price is sure to be reasonable, and I am happy with the 35" tire size, just not the brand of tires I currently have on there...

i have been reserching tires also, i didn't come across the desination's. did you say they can be purchassed in a 35, i don't really want to go much smaller because of my lift. i only need two, but i am not impressed with my hankooks, and was thinkin on changin all 4 out, but i would like to keep the cost down. i don't really need an E but nothing lower then D. have you found anything else in your diggin around.

I've been eyeballing a few different tires..
I know you can get the following tires in either 315/70/17 or 35x12.50x17:
Pro comp extreme all terrains ( I have these now in 35's and I don't like them.)
Firestone destination AT's come in 315/70/17 as do the Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2's, I believe. I have looked at both, and I like the firestone's better... But it might just be personal preference. I do know that nitto and toyo both make a wide range of tires in that size.

I got 315/75/16's on the 02. Rides like a caddy, couldn't be happier. I will say with the beefy tread they like to pick stuff up, like knives, nails, screwdrivers, and I speak from experience. Got 235/75/16's on the 1st gen. They love em.

Well if you are still in the market for tires, I heard on the radio tonight that big-o is having a huge sale like buy 2 get 2 free. That sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Wish I had money for tires

in the firestone D's you can both the 285 and 315 in a D or E you can also get them in the MT's in both sizes and both D or E . i just got the 285 E's for my truck. i'm thinking of putting them on my dually and getting the 315 MT's instead. these tires got very high marks on the tirerack also. good luck guys
