looking at buying a 4.5" kit for my truck. Will 38s fit on a 4.5" truck with a 16x10 wheel?

I am not that familiar with Dodge but I doubt it. I have 6-8" set at 7 and my 35's rub, Crawler has a 4 inch lift on his truck and his 35's barely fit.

38's definitely will not fit with only a four inch. cumminsfreak just pulled off his 4.5 inch and 35's

What about Cutout flares too then 4.5" might get ya to 37s.

I would think you would need at least 8" to get 38's on it.

38's will fit with a 6" lift if you keep it on the road or barely flex it out. i'd suggest using a 38x12.5 and running an 8" wheel with 4" backaspacing.

as of right now i have yet to see any cut'out flares available for dodge but i haven't looked everywhere.

37x 12.5 will fit no problem.
but 38s would rub.
the 37s will rub if flexed quite a bit.

theres no cut out flares for 2nd gens
theres nothing to cut in the front

hmmmm, ok, the lift cummins freak is selling will more than likely be going to me, but he already sold the wheels/tires

does anyone know anything i can do to the lift or anything i can add to it for another 1 or 2" of lift beyond the advertised 4.5"?

Put a 2 1/2" leveling spacer on top of the new springs.

good idea, and then get another 2" add a leaf for the rear
