I have no doubt that you have the technical knowledge or skills. Just no life experience. The point I was making is that I can put my truck in the shop for what you'll spend on parts alone.
My truck is plenty fast, and only lacks a sixth gear!

I like the guy above. I don't like anything newer than 03 dodge. I've had a 6.5 pos. I've had ford 7.3's good but no power. the 6.9s even worse. but hey it's my personal opinion and everybodys is different. i love p-pumped 12vs. I see no problem with lowering a 4x4 for a specific purpose. if he likes it that way he can have it his way. If you paid for his pickup then you could do it your way. good luck on lowering it and post up pics or any info you get so others can do it.

Thanks man. And I'll post some pics and info when I'm through.

Hairy beast search on here for lowered 4x4, there's a guy with a silver 03-05 dodge ram 2500 4x4 4 door short bed that's lowered down on 18s that he uses for diesel racing but he could give you alot of info on how to do your. Put some build up pics when you get through. If you need anymore help just ask.

Man the guy was just asking for some info and some people had to go all ******* on him. Just cause you can call someone queer or an idiot through the computer doesnt make you cool or tough. Just makes all of us think you should of been a blow job. Just my opinion though.

I honestly can't recall the last time my strength or toughness was questioned.

Real men work on their own pickups and don't take them to a shop.

I work on mine when I can, but simply am not a mechanic. I suppose you're not much of a horse trainer or horseshoer. But whhere I come from, a real man rides his own broncs and shoes his own mounts. weall have different skill sets. Right now, I'm shoeing a diesel mechanic's horse. Earlier, he was working on my truck. We just go with our strengths and what we prefer doing. I'm on here to learn what I can.
