Default Wheel Backspacing and relivance

Sorry guys but I looked through the other threads and couldn't find what I needed. The current rims I have are 17x9 and have a -8mm offset and 4 5/8 backspacing. The tires are 35x12.50. The tires dont rub so my question is should I look for rims that are the same sizes as the ones I have or can I get rims with less offset and backspacing? I am looking at the MT Sidebiters but they have 0mm offset but have 5 backspacing and I dont know if thats ok or will it cause the tires to rub. I guess my question really is what is the minimal ammount of offset and backspacing I can go down to, but keep the tires from rubbing? Thanks fellas!
