Shock absorber help?

Looks like you are just aiming for a better handling of the truck, get rid of the stock shock and buy a new one that suites your driving style. Or simply buy a Shock Absorber and Strut Assembly to make things easier.

Good thread. I too am in need of shocks. I've been looking a the 5100's but I'm having a hard time dropping $300 on shocks. I know that I'm a tight *** but right now $300 is a lot of money. Is there a decent alternative?

None that are any better than what you have now. You might be able to replace the ones your using with more of the same but you will only save yourself $100 or so and have the same ride you always had.

You can get 4 MONROE GAS MAGNUM for your truck for $174 This is your alterative

Thanks... Guess what I should've said was are they wort the the additional $$. I done some research and came the the conclusion that they are hands down the only way to go and will pick some up.
