I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500HD w/Cummins TD and need some replacement shocks. I am looking for a smooth ride as I do not tow anymore. I installed a new set of KYB Excel-G shocks in July and they are WAY too soft. After I go over a speed bump the truck bounces several times. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I went with a set of Monroe sens-a-trac all the way around a few years ago in my 98. Very pleased with the ride. I had Pro-Comp shocks.. yea stay away from them.. they did exactly what you described in your post!
