New tires and wheels... Going Old School...
Picked up a set of wheels on CL... Cleaned them up and ordered the tires last Wednesday.
Going to cost me a total of $800-900 mounted, balanced and such, but that beats $1800 for a set of Toyo MT's...
Next time I will only be in it the cost of the tires and mounting, so about $700...
Goodyear Tire Radial 37x12.50R16.5 Take Offs
$400 for the tires and $200 for shipping. Need to find a better shipping quote, that seems high but...

If I like them I will, didnt want to spend money coating a set of wheels if I dont like the tires.
I spent about 4 hours polishing them to this point, they were pretty gross before, not bad now.
I hope they show up this week, I had to throw my spare on just to get a tire with some tread left! Never have I ever driven on tires this bald! LOL

I hear that tires have become outrageous just like everything else. Sounds like a good deal if they're only 2 years old.
