Default New tires and wheels... Going Old School...

Picked up a set of wheels on CL... Cleaned them up and ordered the tires last Wednesday.

Going to cost me a total of $800-900 mounted, balanced and such, but that beats $1800 for a set of Toyo MT's...

Next time I will only be in it the cost of the tires and mounting, so about $700...

Goodyear Tire Radial 37x12.50R16.5 Take Offs

$400 for the tires and $200 for shipping. Need to find a better shipping quote, that seems high but...

16.5 take offs I wonder how old those tires are

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Some of them look like they could be less than 75%

The date stamps are no more then 2 years. I asked him.

Sorry, but toyo's got to stop jacking the price up, they know there a popular tire, but $417 a piece for a 37x17 is just ridiculous.

If I like them I will, didnt want to spend money coating a set of wheels if I dont like the tires.

I spent about 4 hours polishing them to this point, they were pretty gross before, not bad now.

I hope they show up this week, I had to throw my spare on just to get a tire with some tread left! Never have I ever driven on tires this bald! LOL

Plasti-dip Joe, dirty cheap and if you don't like it, peel it off by hand in seconds...

I hear that tires have become outrageous just like everything else. Sounds like a good deal if they're only 2 years old.
