Default 35-Inch Tires on 20-Inch Factory Wheels

I'm trying to make a decision between 2 different tire sizes: 295/65R20 and 35x12.5x20. I want to use the factory 20-inch wheels on my 2015 3500 and do not want a lot of tire hanging outside of the wheel well.

I'd appreciate any front and rear-view photos you may have of a 2014/2015 Ram 2500/3500 with either 295/65R20 or 35x12.5x20 tires mounted on 20-inch factory rims.

Thanks.

If you are keeping the same wheels, its pretty simple math how far a 12.5" wide tire will bulge, and from that, how it will locate in respect to the body.

For the record 295's are not close to 12.50 wide. (295) is I'm mm.

It certainly is simple math if you have a truck sitting in front of you. How many equations do I need for the present number of unknowns with which I am faced?

Correct; that's the reason for the request.

Haha... what's the stock tire and wheel size/width?

I have 295 wide rubber on 7-1/2" wide 6" backspace wheels on a 70" wide axle in my '93. Tires are basically flush with the relatively narrow 1stgen body. (rear; my front axle is setup different. 315 (12.5") wide tire would add ~1/2" to the outside.

I know its not the same truck, but your axles and wheel backspace will be very similar.
