New to diesel's. Bought F350, has muffler no tailpipe. Have read here and elswhere that muffler not neccesary. True or false? Need to get fumes away from cab. Also truck does not have original air cleaner but one on it fits good and I put new Wix filter in it. Air may be somewhat restricted though. Should I try and find an original or go with an aftermarket. Have not had much luck with either one.

 

no muffler required, just straight pipe it out the back or whatever you wanna do. preferrably go 4 inch, and for the air cleaner your better to go aftermarket anway. LET IT BREATH!!!!
