Street racing question

headgasket will hold up to around 45-50psi boost pretty easily i know . 400hp is enough to pick on stock mustangs, camaros (older ones) gas pickups. be careful who you line up with though , they might surprise you! my mustang dynoed at 500rwhp and looked completly stock! i picked on a lot of diesels with it because they had 650hp i would retorque the headstuds and you don't need to replace the kdp, just put a tab over it, lots of videos on youtube on this
Infact i had dodge dakota single cab race me, i killed him. Then he went on to tell me he had a bunch of tools in the back and weighed him down. I told him to go play with a mustang and then come talk to me. Bunch of ratards out there.

i usually didn't race, tires were too expensive haha, but if it came down to it, just spool it up to around 5psi and let her rip haha, the looks you get when you start to spool a gas v8 car is awesome, lots of scared looks! the kids who all have 650hp change there stories pretty quick, then when you tell them that the turbo on your car is about the same size as the one on there truck the excuses fly. i put a lot of ls1 cars in there place with it but a lot more money into it then they have. the wife wanted a mustang but to be back on topic around here there is a chevy luv with a dyno proven 1000hp running on the street, its nasty! and a camaro with 1500hp! he ran just over an 8 sec quarter, there out there and sometimes hard to spot. to keep up with most imports i would say 450hp is good enough, but to play with the big boys gotta spend some serious money.
and stock headgaskets will hold to 40 easy and 50 at bursts, just be carefull and don't let it stay there too long. i would definetly upgrade to headstuds, cheap insurance!

Re: Street racing question
I think the 62/65 would be better the 71 seems to spool a bit slower. The mileage all depends on how heavy your right foot is , my cummins with 150hp injectors and an adreanline with the 351ve would get around 18 that's city highway combo. Don't know where I was for power though never dynoed it
