This may be a no brainer but do NOT run your A/C or defrosters on the way to or while at the track.
Most tracks won't let you run if you are laying down ANY kind of fluid. |
very true, any fluid being leak, spilled or whatever on the track is a big no no

less than 12 inches of rubber fuel line in the COMPLETE fuel system......
This may be a little hard even with a stock truck (Cummins at least) since the line running from the tank to the hard line on the frame rail is that long. |

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-367371683239530237&pr=goog-sl You can watch it there. THere may be some bad words said by camera crew. ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- I did not break anything it was blowby coming from underneth the truck. |
you do have to have the wheel studs protruding through open faced lugnuts to run NHRA sanctioned tracks, or atleast that is what the NHRA says, and wether the track enforces it or not.....this isnt stock stuff, look at any of the true FAST 2wd drag diesels running out there, most if not all are back-haved, 4 linked and have a ford 9" with 5 lugs.....like 75% of the drag cars out there, hence the lugnuts protruding through the open face lugnuts....
these are normal NHRA rules i dont know what NHRDA and DHRA rules are....... rubber hose as in El Cheapo parts store junk.... i doubt any of the diesel trucks out there will pull the front wheels more than a few inches, just giving the info though cause one day there will be one that will stand it on the rear wheels..... |
