Hood Stack
#83
just keep the piece you cut out of the hood. Make a mount if the rules say you can't run a hood stack and blot the piece back in. Thats what I did for our 2.6 class out here I just bolt the piece back in the hood and run my single stack out the back. For 2.8 and 3.0 I put the hood stack back on ... only takes 15min after the pipe cools.

Instead of the hood stack I decided to go with a fender stack..
My goal was to be similar to the old military rigs but on a more aggressive scale.
Everything is just clamped together right now except for the first elbow that I did weld. That way if I change my mind or want to redesign (or the cops hassle) I can tear it all down. If a few weeks go by and no trouble I'll weld it and work out a better retaining idea than plumbers tape. It will also be cleaned and painted at that time, though im not sure what color...
