I think if you're dumb enough to put a hoodstack on your DD, anything is possible...
What if you drive the truck to work and park it, and you get really busy doing something, and it starts raining... OK... Water in your turbo... Not good.
On the other hand, are you going to wait outside for 20 minutes until that piece of metal cools down enough to put your plastic folgers can on?? Am I missing something?

id rather drive a civic with a fart pipe than a diesel with a hoodstack on the street.

Unless you've got a pretty good sized hole in the bottom of your hood stack, that water is going into your turbo... If you're lucky.

or you could just fabricate a stainless steel coffee can then it wouldnt rust or melt or you could just not worry about it
