I drag race mine just about every time I come home. I also use it to tow my 5th wheel triple slide toy hauler. It also has daily driver duties.. As far as mods, I was running a BullyDog Triple Dog Downloader, custom CAI, 4" Turbo Back Straight Pipe, EGR Blocked, PCV Reroute, resonator deleted. I run between 8.20 and 8.80 in 2wd. Im kinda scared to run in 4wd just yet. I really need to do the HD Tie Rods and Centerlink before I run in 4wd with my new PPE Programmer. In 2wd I break traction around 9psi boost, so I do 8psi boosted launches in 2wd at the track. Hopefully with the HD Tie Rods and centerlink and this new programmer, I will be consistent Low 8's to high 7's.
Those times are 1/8th mile btw..

My truck sees track time about once per month for 6 months during the club racing season here in the Boise area. I also use it to haul my RV out camping. The RV tips the scales at about 13,300lbs.
Mods: 3.5" dp with 4" exhaust and a Quad 160 Xzillaraider
Best ET in the 1/4 is 14.533 (2wd launches suck)

you don't need the link your your application KC, the sleeves/hd tie rods and braces would be enough for your truck.
You actually loose turning radius with the straight link too

I wouldnt even dare drag my 08 or pull it nothin that truck is strictly for daily driver use and for towing trailers. Thats it. My old 06 tho I ran that at Douglas and got kicked off the track after beating a vette and runnin a 11.2 quarter. My white 12v i have yet to drag race it for a time but i have street raced it and it pulls pretty hard so we will see what kind of time she runs. My black 12v that is on the razor blade edge of being legal ran a 10.41 at douglas and I think it could have been better if the clutch wouldnt have slipped so bad. Right now I'm putting a roll cage in it so I dont get kicked out of venues anymore.
