AR-15
I have a Colt 6920LE, a BCM middie, and a Bushmaster M4A3. I've taken all 3 to carbine classes without any problems. The Bushmaster is the oldest, and will run with any of the "better" brands. It has more rounds through it than the Colt and BCM combined. Guys building ARs get all hung up on "mil-spec" features on "the chart". My Colt is used at work, the others are used for fun. Remember, most of us are NOT in Afghanistan.

No, I didn't. Myself and a few guys from my agency have taken a few rifle/carbine classes, saw quite a few rifles that weren't on "the chart" doing quite well while being run hard. It's the Indian, not the arrow, and if you maintain your weapon properly it will work for you.
"the chart" is a joke, if you use good parts and keep a good gun as you said you wont have issues.
Some guys act like its rocket since or something, its a firearm.... The've been made for hundreds of years.

Just like how starting back in the mid 80's I ran my M16's wet, dripping wet nd was always told no, that's bad, get all the carbon off the BCG and so on...then somebody came out saying to run em wet...and pow...it's the newest thing...
