I can understand that....to me the 45 is more a push than a kick...but it all depends on the gun, the ammo and you & how you hold the pistol.

I think the 40 short and weak has the most kick, snappiest and takes the longest to get back on target..

The Sig P239 only holds 7 rounds in 357 Sig, my P229 holds 12 rounds of 357Sig, I've got no idea what the 226 is, but I'd assume it's about the same as the 229...
