Default Ncstar?

How are their tactical vests? Im looking at one it goes for about $50 bucks. Seems cheap compared to the specialforces.com vests. I want a simple one, holds a handgun a few magazines and a few pockets i hate the big ones. Im also looking for a decent shotgun scabbard.

This is the vest im looking at

Then heres the shotgun scabbard

Im buying this stuff for a halloween costume but mainly just incase this country goes to hell and we all gotta fight. Plus its cool as hell to wear at the gun range or whenever your shooting.

I have a couple vests from my local surplus store, they cost me about $15 each and are pretty decent. They're actual military pieces, but I'm wondering if they were classified as "irregulars" because I've found some of the PALS webbing to be different sizes and they were frayed a bit on some of the stitching and such, but overall in good shape. The pic shows the vest, and my other one is the same except is ACU pattern. I'll agree it does add to the "fun factor" of shooting.

As for a shotgun scabbard, I know VooDoo Tactical makes one like that, but I'm sure quality is going to be similar.

Ramprat makes a valid point, train first. Get proficient with your weapon, then get the gear you want and continue to train with that gear. The best part of MOLLE gear is that you can change it really easily for different weapons or whatever.
