Here's what i just bought.... model 93R17 savage .17, synthetic stock, bull barrel, nikon scope, accu-trigger... gave $200 for it.... Still havent got to shoot it!!!

I think i will like it... i've never even shot a 17 but it seemed like a decent deal and for coyotes i hope it does just fine..

shot it tonight and love it... gotta do some more fine tunin on a calm day to get the accuracy to my liking though..

 

just remember that the 17 is a small caliber, & fouls very quickly, for good accuracy, you must clean the bore after a couple of groups

I have this exact gun. I love it. It does great on coyotes just shoot em in the head. Ive shot beavers with it too, works great. Mine doesn't like the 20gr hp's, I shoot the 17gr polymer tipped bullets. The only thing I dont care for is the mag and mag catch.
