I like the .308 WINCHESTER round, it can do it all with mild recoil

And for my coyote, Ground Hog, and other varmints I have my Tacti-Cool Remington 700 ADL Varmint. I just picked this up for $450 at Dicks. The barrel is not free floated but it still shoots .75 and under MOA in all the tests. Most testers have been able to coax .5 MOA out of it with an aftermarket stock and hand loads. Defiantly too heavy to lug around in the woods but it will work great for precision work. Need to get a better scope for it but this was in the case, the one that it came with is real cheap made...

I have a Remington 700 sps in varmint 22-250 I milked .243'' out of her

I use a Remington 700 .243 for whitetails and chucks here in PA (got it for Christmas in 1971). When I go out west, or to visit the cousins in AK, I take my 700 in .300 Winchester magnum. I also have a TC Pro-Hunter in .204 Ruger for chucks and predators, usually use it when calling coyotes.

ummm...where to start.....SR25 Match in .308Win/Leupold Mkiv....sort of long range.
several AR's I've built chambered in .223ai....only long range if we're talking prairie doggin. Leupold Mkiv's
Hall M actioned 6mmbr, Nightforce 5.5x32....again prairie dogger.
Windrunner 50bmg, Unertle ext mount. It's a long ranger.
.416 Rigby for long range dangerous game.....maybe 75 yds....not much fun to get your jaw jacked every squeeze of the trigger.
