anyone have a suggestion for a holster for this? I presently have a Fobus Paddle for my M9, I like it but it does get annoying occasionally, then there is my Blackhawk serpa which i freaking hate.

Fobus holsters are cheap crap & should be kept to range use only or for extreme emergencies.

The serpa is also junk..lots of ranges/instructors have banned them from classes.

You looking for a IWB or OWB holster? when I get home from work can put up some links to quality holsters...

Kydex or Leather?

Fobus breaks extremly easy, it's a known problem & the rivets can pull out, the belt loops can & will break if you do any weapon retention drills.

To name a few check out...

Atomic Dog holsters, Secret City Weaponeers, Raven Concealment, Comp-Tac, Cane & Derby holsters. I've got holsters from all of the above except Atomic Dog & Cane & Derby & want to get some from both of them. Lots of holster makes ouot there, ya just have to look around to find a qualty holster you like.

It might not break, but it will rot, tear apart at the stitching, can sag, bulge, squeak & will wear out a whole lot sooner given equal usage...

There is a reason or 47 why you don't see leather holsters in classes by instructors such as Magpul or used by them....Quality Kydex won't break till it does not matter and you are broken...

DeSantis leather is not bad, but it's not top shelf...it's like drinking PBR...far from a top quality micro brew, but better than the white can that says BEER...now Galco is a little better...like drinking Blue Moon...but it's no micro brew....

I've got a Rosen ARG & few other leather holsters to include a jackass pancake (Jackass was Galco before they changed names) and never wear em any more...
