"On Monday, it was revealed that one of those killed at the island retreat included Crown Princess Mette-Marit's stepbrother, and an off-duty police officer, who worked at the camp as a security guard, the Associated Press reported."
IIRC, the security guard was one of the first people he killed.

Good Lord....
My point is, he'd maybe had a better chance if he was carrying concealed. Sheeesh.
Here ya go, maybe this will help:

If that guard was carrying concealed and he would have been safer, then I take it you also advise all police officers to carry concealed right?

1 nutjob walking around a school with a gun....
or...
1 nutjob walking around a school with a gun......and 50 good people walking around that same school with guns.
Because making carrying illegal tends to make the 1 nutjob the only one with a gun.

Schools are no place to open cary...carry concealed in a school legally fine...but no openly...unless you are in uniform with a badge...

Why are you so against people knowing and exercising their rights?
The way I see it, our rights are on a "use em or lose em" basis. The government is taking as many of them as they can, and we have to hold on to as many as we can.
When I say we I dont mean you. Clearly you are a cop, you are one of the kings men, so congratulations, you can do whatever you want to a lowly peon like myself and get away with it.

You sure have a hard time understanding simple concepts don't you....
See if you can read this and understand it, I will type really slow...that might help you understand.....but I doubt it.....
Ramprat is NOT against people knowing and exercising their rights.....not in the least...
Nobody said you can't carry....just that ITS NOT FUNNYING SMART to always open carry...and that if you have 1/2 a brain you would understand this & agree that at times concealed carry is the smart option....
No I am not a LEO and no H.R. 218, "The Law Enforcement Officer's Safety Act" does NOT apply to me...but I wish it did as I am RETIRED USAF Security Police (military police) ..Yes I have a concealed carry permit..that is good in something like 31 states...yes I carry concealed...and even once in a while open carry.....but it's concealed 95% of the time...giving me time to get into the goblins OODA loop and do what is needed with stealth, speed and violence of action...

How about this little gif...might help
CincinnatisMostWanted is the guy in green.....concealed carry is the guy in the white shirt...and the lady in green is common sense...
He is arguing his point that open carry is always the best method of carrying...that he knows more, is smarter, better trained and if you do not agree with him you obviously are stupid scared mentally ill sheeple and giving up your rights...
