Getting ready to plan our yearly trip to Millacs Lake. Can hardly wait it's a great time drinking, I mean fishing, We rent cabins on the lake and fish through holes in the floor of the cabin. They have heat tv hot plates bathroom, now thats ice fishin. You Minnesota guy's must know where I'm talking

Yeah they'll fix ya up real nice up there. They're basically a small apartment on the ice. Most just convert the "living" area into a sleeping area when it's bed time. That's a long way from the way I used to ice fish.

 

Last year we had 2 huts a 9 man and 6 man. We had a nice large table in the middle of the room for all of us to sit around and play poker all night and fish at the same time. Bunks are mounted on the walls. and then there are trap doors in the floor that you open up to fish out of. The guys I fish with like to have fun those little trap doors by leaving them open during the night so when someone gets up to use the bathroom they step into one of those holes. Wakes ya up in a hurry.
