The 22 LR, Are very accurate, don't kick & are alot cheaper than any other ammo

My dad bought me a 20 ga remmington 870 express when I was 11 and a ruger 10/22 when I was 12. I bought a remmington .280 model 742 (I think) on my 18th b-day.

Why the 280 & not a 270 WIN. or a 30-06, ammo is hard to find in 280

It was used and I thought it would be neat to have a "woodsmaster" since my dad had a 12 ga wingmaster. I hardly ever shoot it. Too expensive like you say. Trying to decide on a good deer rifle I can afford to shoot right now.

You know it'll be a collector's item, cause there aren't too many around, I would buy as much ammo as I can, cause sooner or later that ammo mite not be around anymore
