if i go deer huntin i try to bring somethin home everytime i go. cause the more i bring home the more food mom can cook and/or store in the freezers. (which are empty)

hunt all you can while you are young. you will find your self not caring as much for it when you get older.

im already finding that out. i just really dont care to get out of bed before daylight when there is no need to.

Ya I don't do anything serious about it anymore. None a that crawlin out a bed in the morning or sittin out there in the cold weather. It's all casual now as I feel like takin a break from the barn work.

I do miss small game huntin though, but the coyotes have cleaned out all the rabbits and birds around here. Not to mention that hunt clubs have leased up all the ground. I refuse to pay to hunt. I will work and help out around farms gladly, but i won't pay money.

coyotes are getting bad here. our rifle deer season comes in thanksgiving week. i hope to get a coyote in the cross hairs.

rifle is week after thanksgiving here. already sighted in and readdy to go. got a nice 8 point basket last year. gota see what i can do this year.

same here, this year when we kill a deer instead of sinking the gut pile in the pond we are gonna toss them in the middle of a field at night for the coyotes. I figure me and the 7mm rem mag in the edge of the wood line should help solve the coyote problem.

We used to dump about 15 yoters a night when I was a kid. Every year when the cows started dropping calves my little brother and I would sit up in the loft of the barn in our sleeping bags with a spot light and a 22-250. After birth is like crack for coyotes.

you and me both i about shot a squirrel last rifle season because i got so bored until this OLD buck made the mistake of coming about 30 yards away from me
