Sounds like it's time for a few bomber parties. Trucks by day and hogs by night. They're no different then coyotes and the only way we've ever found to thin out the coyote population for a few years at a time is as Stinker said, drive em. For a few nights in a row you drive em not just to your property lines but adjacent properties also. Put some trucks with CB's drivin the surrounding roads and the dogs and guys stompin through the wood line.
They need to put a cash bounty on em and make it worth while to hunt em. They used to do that around here with coyotes, we got $30 a head and made some good money as kids with this. It kept the population in check until they stopped it. Now I haven't seen a rabbit for years around here.
