Taurus just upped the ante with their new Raging Judge Magnum. "What's this" you say? It's a blend of their super-popular Judge and their Raging Bull line of revolvers. This resulted in a massive 6-shot revolver that lets you stoke it with your choice of .45 Long Colt, 2 1/2"-3" .410 shot shells and .454 Casull!

You ain't gonna conceal it on your person without anything less than a briefcase, but I'm guessing there ain't a critter in North America the Raging judge Magnum couldn't save your hide from.

My Buddie has the Judge and said unless you stick it in their belly your not going to hit them with the 45 long, they wouldn't let him fire the 41o at the indoor range ???

Ok I am bringing this back from the dead. But I have been gone a while. Lol. I have upped to the Glock 23. .40 is fine for me. Besides my buddies carry .40. That way the city can supply the ammo.

I will not carry anything smaller than a .38. My every day carry is a S&W .40 that holds 12 in the magazine. Hornady Critical Defense hollow points. I feel it is adequate for a self defense situation.

I carry everyday. When I get off work I am carrying until my pants come off at night. I have 3 guns that I carry depending on the conditions. I have a Taurus 85 ultralight in 38spl, a CZ75BD in 9mm, and a Springfield XDM in 45acp. I load the 38 and 9 with +p ammo. I have a shoulder holster that fits the CZ and XDM and also a Crossbreed supertuck for the CZ and one for the XDM. I always carry a speed loader or extra mag as well as aStreamlight ProTac 2L and a Kabar TDI LEK on my leftside.

Sledpuller, very nicely done and all accurate info. If you can't hit the barn with a cannon, there's no point in wasting the cannonball!

call me old fashioned or an idiot or whatever you think here but i carry a uberti single action .45 lc revolver, with the way i dress its easy to conceal, not super heavy, and i can get 6 shots out of it plenty fast enough to keep my *** out of a sling and do it with good accuracy. i also have a little keltec .380 that i carry in an ankle holster for a back up if i know im going into a bad area that thing is about a 9 foot gun, meaning if it aint within 9 feet good freakin luck!
