While you two clowns are busy arguing about which one of ya'll is scaring the goblin more, the goblin just shot you both with a Sig P220ST.......a real .45, all stainless, 2.5 pounds of fun. If you can't carry it all day you deserve to be shot by it.

Some people really put the "Special" in Special Forces.

On a serious note, have been looking around at getting another full sized 1911 for daily carry. Sig's are nice and I love mine, but there is just something wicked sexy about a 1911 Govt

Might end up with a parkerized Springer loaded with night sights, the .mil discount is not bad & can have it refinished with NP3/Roguard

Come on guys, I cleaned up a couple of post. Let's keep this one civil and keep it on topic.

Course if ya load that same shotgun with birdshot ya ain't exactly the smartest card in the bird poop......
How can you draw all of that from what I said?!

Keep a few signal flares next to the night stand and throw them at the intruder.

Also been spending some time looking at the STI Spartan, that seems to be a rather well made pistol for what it is.

The Spartan is actually cheaper than a Springer loaded 1911

The spartan frame and slide are Armscor (Philippines) but the internals are STI as STI ships the guts over to the PI where the pistol is assembled & then shipped to STI stateside where they do the final hand fitting, thus it's a STI pistol backed by STI's warranty but much cheaper...

I edited my post but you beat me to it.

Are the Rock Island's also Armscor or something else?
