Nice! I had a .308 Panther. I sold it to afford to get the family started. I am really wanting to build my own next year with my refund check. But!, there is a PSL at the local gun shop that is very tantilizing! It would go good with the sks and the ak! You had any time with one of these?

Has anyone mentioned the most powerful handgun in the world the .44 magnum? and How old do you have to be to a .22 rifle

The 44 is a long way from the most powerful handgun. And a 22 is the same as any other gun.

yeah, agreed, it used to be, the new S&W 500 beat it out and theres several others that beat it. not sure bout your state but you have to be 18yrs old to buy a long gun and 21 to buy a handgun in my state and im pretty sure thats a common law across the country.

Someone said taurus's are junk, well, ive had mixed results, i had a Pt111 9 mm millieum pro and it was junk sold it 2 wks ago but my OSS and my pt1911 are awesome, ran hundreds of rounds threw em with out a problem. I also just sold a springfield XD .45, i didnt care much for it, i shoot really good with a pistol and its accruacy seemed to be hit and miss at distances of 10yds plus. sold those too guns and got me an ar15 to go with my AK47

out of all the handguns I've shot the .44 was defenetly up there in power and the most accurate. I've shot colt .45, .38, single action .22 revolver, 9mm, and a single action 44 magnum.

what you need to do is find a range that rents guns and spend a day and some $$$ to find what you truly like. I grew up shooting, my dads big into gun collecting so ive fired just about everything caliber wise so i chose a .45 ACP for my first pistol when i turned 21 a few yrs ago

I'm going to be 18 next month. and I wanted to buy a 30-30 lever action. I Don't mean to hijack the thread but will I be able to or do I have to be 21?
