So, what are you trying to say?
At least you know know that the XD was made before you thought it was, who makes it & where and that you really could have had one prior to you're Glock 23 unlike what you thought. Oh and if the XD is so superb, why not sell the 23 and get a XD????
Oh and don't forget that the Sigma is a jam-o-mattic with lots of problems, otherwise would it not be carried by Law Dogs? Course it can't be said that the Law Dogs are breaking down Taurus doors eager to purchase them to take in harms way. I've shot a hi point that jammed less than Sigma's I've shot and as far as Taurus quality, trading one in on a Jennings would be a step up in quality

Just in case ya missed it, here's what I CCW the vast majority of the time:
And a few of the other pistola's I could CCW if so desired

Rather than a practical carry option, I think it's probably more of just a cool Mall Ninja saying born in Hollywood, you know the ones "Cocked and Locked", "Lock and load", "Let's roll", "Let's Rock and Roll", "Make my day"

I'd have to wonder why you would want to do this. The police and military don't carry cocked weapons and they actually have a legitimate reason to. I know Plaxico Burress used to carry his cocked weapon in the elastic waistband of his sweats, he had a CCW from Florida. What do you guys have to do to get a permit down there?

Be real, high point & jennings HA HA HA, The S & W SIGMA only problem is the heavy trigger pull, never shot a TAURUS 24/7 so I won't comment, but I've heard good things about them, yes I like autos, cause they carry more ammo, HA HA HA do I see HONDA keys ??? I would only buy an AMERICAN TRUCK !!!
As far as the keys, show me a "American" car & especially one from the big three that not going under and begging for money due to crappy business practices and allowing the uaw to destroy them.
No thanks, I'll buy quality that we will know will last instead of a "American" built product that allows the uaw to blackmail and extort them into the poor house where they now need to beg money from the Govt to survive.

The Xd Was not made when I bought my glock, if it was not called the xd It was not an XD, why don't I sell my glock, because it is a fine weapon and I shoot it well, so there is no need. I have shoot sigmas quite a bit and never had a problem with them jamming. I could care less what you carry and I did not miss anything, a pic of a bunch of hand guns does not mean anything to me or prove you know what you are talking about. As far as law enforcement knocking down Taurus's doors has nothing to do with quality, they make a damn fine handgun, I am not a big fan of the sigmas but that has nothing to do with their quality. Law enforcement here carry only glock does that mean they are the only quality manufacturer? I have no doubt you know a thing or two about hand guns but it is obvious your knowledge is limited and bias.I am tired just got home from work an I am going to get some shut eye, I'm out.
Did you not read what I posted, or are you just refusing to believe the history of the XD, sure it was not "named" the XD from birth? As soon as Springfield started importing them they changed the name for marketing reasons. Thus the XD was sold as the HS2000 and the HS2000 is the same gun as the XD.
Nope, I don't know crap, but I do have a big mouth and am biased toward guns that work & cheap ones that do not The HiPoint is a better gun than the Sigma or the Taurus
I must admit, Taurus makes a superb paperweight ya can throw at a Sigma

HI CumminsRam, My reason for keeping my guns ****-n-lock is, you only need one hand to fire the gun, with the other hand you could drive, make a 911 call, jab an eye, or push away, also it's speed, as you grab your gun your thumb is pushing the safety down !!! One last thing if your gun gets taken away, the scumbag is going to be pulling on the trigger to shoot you, but that safety will be saving your butt !!!

A gun that fits your hand and your eye is more deadly than one you can't hang onto or never get a good site picture with.
That said, instead of asking about brands, go to a gun shop--more inventory the better--and fondle everything you can until you narrow down a list of what fits you the best.
Then try them out on a range...most cities have a range where you can "rent" a gun for a few minutes to shoot. No sense listening to other's opinions on brand, model, and caliber if you can't/don't like shoot/shooting the thing.
I like Sig Sauer SA handguns because 1) the controls are intuitive to my hands and 2) their quality is superb.
I like Glock SA handguns because 1) they are unbelievably reliable and rugged and 2) they are probably most easiest gun to "tweak" outside of a 1911 variant..and I don't like 1911 variants.
I like CZ SA handguns because 1) they are very high quality, reliable builds, 2) around the world they are the #1 LE sidearm (CZ-75), and 3) not many people understand how good they are so they're easy to find cheap.
The infamous "Bren Ten" 10mm was a variant of the CZ and you can buy a Tangfolio EAA Witness 10mm with 13 shot capacity for under $400 brand new....best deal going today on a bad *** handgun. Much better than the Delta Elite IMHO.
To each their own, but Sig, Glock, CZ (and the Tangfolio variants) are my top 3 choices for SA handguns.

I am not arguing weather or not the HS2000 is the same gun as the XD, but at that time the actual Springfield XD did not exist, it was the HS2000. as for the sigma and taurus being paper weights, its statements like these that show the extent of your knowledge. To each his own I am not going to convince you and I am not changing what I have learned through personal experience.
