i have a conceled holster that clips in the inside of the waist of my jeans, in the small of my back. It holds a Barretta Tomcat 380. If i'm not carrying it there, i have my 44 mag Taurus in my truck with me...can't really conceal it on my person.

Heres the holster i have for the tomcat...

that's a nice little setup. my .44 rarely see the shoulder holster i bought for it either. used to wear that up at the cabin before i bought the beretta. got clumsy pretty quick. i did buy a nice thigh holster for the 44 tho. made life alot easier.

Yeah, i have a shoulder holster for the 44 as well, i use it when i'm out hunting...killed my last good deer with it at about 3 yards. But as you said, its a bit cumbersome for everyday concealment

nice

here's a funny and kinda scary story to go along with carrying...

father in law and i were up at the cabin playing with the guns when the one and only police officer in the area decides to stop in and tell us about the new atv laws cuz he saw our trailers. (he had never met the FIL and me before) the way the cabin is set up, u park in the front and the range, fire pit, etc is in back. well the officer comes around the corner and sees me standing there with my .40 on my shoulder, .44 on my leg, FIL has his 10mm on his shoulder, plus the 2 12 gauges and 2 .22 rifles on the picnic table. the man absolutely froze in his tracks and for the first time in my life i saw wut fear looks like in someone's eyes. the FIL and i kinda froze too and just put our hands out so he could see them. the few seconds felt like forever but we just followed his lead and shortly we were bs'ing with him and laughing about the whole deal.
