as a USMC trained Armorer, anything AR platformed is ultimately if your willing to pay the extra price for .5 MOA of accuracy. thats all it is. ruger makes solid AR's, I just want to point out to you that an AR is an expensive en devour and there are cheaper alternatives. 54r surplus is $.21, so if you actually want to shoot the rifle and not spend all your money on ammo, 54r Veprs give you that ability.

the closest you will get to a shelf price is the MSRP of $2100, as it isnt a "in stock" rifle for gun shops, as is with any 308 AR. do you plan to use this as a "bench shooter"?

I plan to do what ever I choose with it whether it be hunting or riding in the truck with me through bad neighberhoods or simply admiring the craftsmenship. Ave you laid eyes on one have you seen one on the self have you shot one? or are you getting your info off the ruger website? I personaly have handeled one as well as a few other ar-10s. The shop that had it only had the one and it was already sold and the kid I was dealing with did not know the acual price of it. I personaly thaught it was a better rifle then the dpms ar-10
