Default 1911

I got me a rock island 1911 for my birthday/Christmas gift to myself. It is a 9mm. Already have 350 rounds through it. Got my new grips, and new magazines in yesterday. So to change the grips, I completely disassembled the gun.

The day I got it

A pic of new grip next to old grip

And a pic of grips installed.

Hey Luke, I have some 500-750 rounds through it. Haven't had any problem firing since the initial 200 rounds.

I like them a lot better than the stock ones. Soon as I get bills caught up gonna upgrade the trigger and a beaver tail grip.

Don't forget to get a tight barrel bushing for better groups
