A good friend of mine is a retired Marine, and an active gunsmith. He works on both the local PD's SWAT team weapons and the Army's version of SWAT (forget the initials) at our local bases. He recommends the Colt M4. He says after the proliferation, pre and post Y2K, the quality of AR 15s went down. The M4 still meets MIL specs. Neither of has a dog in this fight, as we both prefer .308s by H&K or FAL. I've had to sell everything off and am down to a Mini 14, so what do I know. I've never owed an AR 15.

 

That is a pretty low blow there. I can't believe a staff member stooped that low. I wouldn't even expect CSIPSD to stoop that low...

 

Seriously you are surprised at his low blow...come on now, it's all about double standards for him, if we had good admin & site owners who actually gave a dang about this site he would no longer be a moderator due to his actions, lack of actions and favoritism track record he has established over a looong time....

However, till somebody in the admin changes he will get away with anything he wants as there is nobody here to keep him in check....

Good idea, might even start crying about being a disabled vet due to a back injury in a combat zone......hell, I can easily prove that one plus have pictures of me in the Veterans hospital zonked out of my mind on massive pain killers & other meds due to said injury flaring up last July.....

So, I'm a disabled Vet, disabled Fire Fighter and disabled EMT..but who still works for a living instead of going on disability & other social welfare programs...earned in a combat zone serving America......

Not to mention having tricare insurance (we pay for) and paying for the operation instead of having teh VA hospital system doing the operation for free.....

 

You need to work on your whining.

 

True, an other member here does it so much better than I do. Have to take lessons from him in the whining and poor me department. Have never been any good at feeling sorry for myself & instead just suck it up and press on.
